Football manager Kevin Keegan isn’t very good at handling pressure is he? How many major roles has he had in recent years? Three. How many has he quit now? Three. Last night the heat got too hot at Man City and he quit.
I don’t know why he always seems to pack his bags and leave. Maybe it’s because he wants to avoid an inevitable sacking (I wish all the ex-Leeds managers had quit, they wouldn’t have had a big fat pay off).
Something’s not right, he seems like a fighter on TV interviews prior to matches (remember his infamous “LOVE IT!” rant?), but off camera he appears to be a small man.
Still I like Keegan. He’s a good and honest. I wouldn’t have him as Leeds manager though. However I won’t be surprised if certain tabloids “make up” stories linking him with Leeds…
“EXCLUSIVE: Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has been having secret talks with ex-Man City manager Kevin Keegan a source close to the Yorkshire Club claims. The source who prefers to remain unnamed claims Keegan is No.1 on Bates manager list as he has a great history of promoting teams back to The Premiership and keeping them there”

“INSIDE INFO: Managerless Man City are set to make a surprise swoop for Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell. Blackwell has done wonders for the Coca-Cola Championship side and the Man City board believe he is the man to take City forward”
