It may be a few days late, but it has been far too cold to blog – if that is a decent excuse.

New Years Eve was spent in with Claire watching Big Fat Quiz of the Year – a much nicer alternative to braving the cold and going clubbing with thousands of drunk revellers in town.

New Years Day was even colder; but there was a football match on, so it was all aboard the coach for Dorchester. The weather in Dorset wasn’t much warmer than Bath, and even though we had made the journey, the game was in major doubt right up until the kick off. Luckily the match went ahead, and while the temperature mirrored that of the Arctic, it was a good afternoon. Bath City won 2-0.

Saturday, the temperatures continued to plummet and the scheduled home game against Bishop’s Stortford was called off. Twerton Park is apparently thick with frost and the only event it is good for is Dancing on Ice.

This left me with a free afternoon. Unlike last weekend, I decided against watching Bitton – it was far too cold for such madness. Instead I spent the evening in the (relative) warmth of my flat, watching Jeff Stelling on Sky Sports News. It’s FA Cup weekend, so all very exciting. The games were something of an anticlimax and there weren’t too many surprise results. Stelling’s team, Hartelpool, won and he seemed to get very excited. Bless.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
