Well, well, well… I believe I have to doff my cap to the England national football team.
They have finally surprised and very much impressed me, reaching the semi final of the World Cup, this afternoon. A pretty amazing feat by manager, Gareth Southgate, who has built a young and hungry team – certainly the best I’ve seen since becoming a football fan.
The team’s success is all the more impressive, if you compare this year’s players with the ‘superstars’ of Lampard, Rooney, Beckham, Terry, Ferdinand, etc – it’s almost as if, in the past, players were picked for England based upon reputation, rather than if they’re any good!
Finally, apologises to Roman, our pet rabbit, who got a little alarmed when Claire and I celebrated the first goal. Personally, I think he was just being bitter because his team didn’t qualify for the World Cup. Before you ask, Roman supports Holland – he’s a NETHERLANDS Dwarf Rabbit.

- Two Of A Kind
Women's football has come a long way in recent years. I think it is now fair to say that the International England Women's Team is now an equal to the International England Men's Team.
Both reaching the semi final of their respective World Cups.
Both getting beaten in aforementioned semi finals, after playing uncharacteristically badly.

- Naughty, Naughty
A lot is being made of today's match between England and Cameroon in the Womens World Cup.
I watched the game. Cameroon were a disgusting team and displayed such extreme misbehaviour. I have never seen all these examples from one team in a single match...

It is nice to see the England Women football team doing well this year, just like their male counterparts 12 months ago.
To be fair to the Lionesses, they've been getting better and better over the last decade. Until last summer, England men had been pretty rubbish since 1996.
I'm not here to blog about the players....
- International Rivalry
England fell at the first hurdle in the Nations League tonight, losing 3-1 to Holland.
Roman was delighted. After all, he's a Netherland Dwarf rabbit.
How he mocked us...
Well, I know a certain little bunny who's sleeping in the garden tonight...
What do you think to that, Roman?
Who's laughing now?
Of course Roman wasn't put outside. Do you not...
