After watching The Strangers on Friday, it got me thinking…
The two lead characters (played by Scott Speedman and Liv Tyler) were rather stupid. There they were, trapped in a house in the middle of nowhere, with a group of psychopaths trying to break in and kill them. What did they do? They just waited to die – pathetic!
It’s a shame for them that they never rented the film Home Alone. If movies have taught us nothing else, it’s that when criminals try to break into your house, the best way to deal with them is to lay booby traps everywhere. This is guaranteed to work every time, with hilarious results.

I don't know if it'll beat his all time favourite - Keeping Up Appearances - but as far as movies go, he loves this one.
I have already found something...

Claire and I will definitely be making a trip to the cinema for this one. I wonder if we'll be allowed to bring Roman...
