Under high recommendation from Doug at work, I went to Tesco for lunch and bought the special Christmas sandwich – ‘Turkey & all the trimmings’. This is basically a full Christmas dinner (minus the potatoes) for a mere £2.00.
I have eaten a lot of sandwiches in my time, but can honestly say this is the best. It is absolutely delicious – ‘gert lush’ as they say in Bristol.
The sad thing is, as this is a festive sandwich, it is unlikely to be around in a few weeks time. With this being the case, I have finally found a reason to agree with the band Wizzard and wish it could be Christmas every day.
