I think I have new neighbours. Well, either that or my existing ones have a new HiFi with extra loud speakers. Last night, while John and Simon visited, we were treated to an evening of Musical Hits of the 90’s, courtesy of a nearby resident and their sound waves penetrating the walls. Being a fan of most of the songs being played, I did not object. In fact, it saved me having to find music to play myself.
What I did have a problem with is the music carried on and on and on, even after my friends had left. To make matters worse, the classic records of the 90’s stopped and were replaced by what sounded like a karaoke session of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – over and over again.
As I lay in my bed at 2am, I felt like Victor Meldrew in that episode of One Foot in the Grave, where a nearby party enraged him by playing The Laughing Policeman in the early hours.
Luckily, by 3am the music had stopped. That didn’t prevent me from feeling very tired all Sunday from lack of sleep.
If the same happens again, I will have no choice but to alert the US Military and inform them that an Osama Bin Laden lookalike has been spotted in my neighbour’s property and all residents must be destroyed.
Now, I must go to sleep. Hopefully there will be no more illegal raves tonight. If there are, I know who to ask for help.

- What Have They Done To My Flat?
My former flat, where I lived between 2007 and 2013, looks to be for sale!
I thought that I would let you all know, in case I have a stalker, who wishes to live in my former home and has a spare £180k lying around.
If any of my fans want to see where their favourite blogger...
- Thank You, Rubbish Dudes!
I am pleased to announce that we have both an update and a conclusion to the missing/stolen food recycling box.
A clean, brand spanking new box has been left outside our house.
Claire managed to get it into our back garden before the bin burglar could steal another from us!
So, I believe that is "thank you" to...

In case anyone has been worried about my broken stairlift and the prospect of me being stranded upstairs forever, fear not, for it has been fixed!
We turned it off an on again.

- Be Careful What You Wish For
We had a power cut this afternoon. Apparently many properties near to ours were also affected.
Thankfully the "blackout" lasted for just a few seconds. That brief period was long enough to knock out all my tech, which, once power had returned, spent ages whirring and beeping as it all came back to life.
The power cut...
- Well That Was Long Overdue…
I had my haircut yesterday, for the first time since February.
Let's just say my mop was getting very long and I was getting very annoyed with it.
You also know it's bad when your wife calls you Shaggy. I assume she didn't mean the cool dude behind classic tunes like It Wasn't Me and In the Summertime. She...
