Claire has gone out this evening to the grand opening of Waitrose in Keynsham. When I heard that a Waitrose was opening there, I found it rather strange. Without being rude, Waitrose is one of the more upmarket supermarkets, while the town of Keynsham is… well… if you’ve been, you’ll know what I mean. I expect it to be gone in a couple of months and replaced by a Lidl or Poundland. Still, it is all the talk of the town. A colleague of mine who lives in Keynsham has told me all about it.
I expect the place to be rammed. I certainly won’t want to be there. However, I have asked Claire to bring me back home a bottle of Sheppy’s cider and a nice cake. She also promises to pop into to KFC, which is next door and bring me home some finger lickin’ chicken from The Colonel.
