Like all residents of Bath, and indeed everyone in the country, I was very shocked and saddened by the road traffic accident which occurred in Weston on Monday. The death of the child and those poor men in the car is awful and was personally made all the more harrowing, as I work and live a short distance from where it took place. The tragic event really puts everything in perspective.

There has been a very sombre mode around the City since the accident, and a minutes silence was held before Bath City’s FA Trophy Quarter Final Replay against Dover Athletic last night. The silence was well observed and followed by a fantastic win for Bath City, which saw them progress to the semi-final of the competition for the first time in the club’s history. Many of the victorious players dedicated the win to the victims of the tragedy. Well done, ‘You Stripes’. Well done.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
