Tonight, Bath City host Crawley Town in the league. As a previous blog entry made after my visit to their ground suggests, I am not a fan of the Sussex club, or their manager Steve Evans. More on Evans and his, let’s say “interesting past” can be found on Wikipedia. As well as on the BBC here, here, here, here and here… oh, and here.
Despite having such a lovely man as a manager, there are yet more reasons why so many football fans dislike Crawley. Not least because of their ridiculous high-spending on players, compared to that of their league rivals who generally survive on a shoe string of a budget.
I’m hardly in a position to suggest what music Bath City should play to them on the tannoy before kick off, but here are a few ideas…
Kanye West – Gold Digger
The Beatles – Can’t Buy Me Love
Abba – Money, Money, Money
Janet Jackson – The Best Things in Life Are Free
Notorious Big – Mo Money Mo Problems
A Camp – I Can Buy You
Dire Straights – Money for Nothing
